March 9, 2021 – iKeepSafe announced that it has awarded a FERPA privacy badge to Foundry College. Foundry College builds future-ready skills and knowledge by providing adults with an education that combines the durable professional skills that employers seek with in-demand, job-relevant credentials to align with the jobs of today and tomorrow. Foundry’s live instruction is delivered in an online setting via its proprietary learning technology platform, the Forge, which is purpose-built for education and facilitates active learning techniques, based on deep insights from the science of learning.
iKeepSafe’s FERPA badge is the first independent assessment program for the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act. The program seeks to help educators and parents identify edtech services and tools that protect student data privacy.
