The following lessons are designed for use in a family setting and will help you teach children in a fun, non-threatening way the basic guidelines for using the Internet safely and responsibly. All lessons are an opportunity for families to have fun together, express love and concern for each other, and to establish family standards together.

This lesson will help parents teach their children to turn off the computer monitor and help them know when they should run for help. You will need the following items: |
Lesson 3: Bullying and the Myth of Internet Anonymity(for older children, 10-18, with adaptation for younger children approx. 20 min.) |

This lesson will help parents teach older kids (teens and tweens) that they are not anonymous on the internet and that they cannot take back what they post online, and what they do online can and will effect their real, offline lives. |

Lesson 4: Our Family’s Safety Contract(15 min, may be combined with other lessons.) |

This lesson helps parents and children establish safety standards, write and print out a safety contract for their family. This lesson can be combined with lesson 1. You will need the following items: |
